After high school, I joined my friend's band, Beyond The Sun. It was the beginning of my relationship with both my husband and consequently, his best friend Matt, which to this day have been some of my most fulfilling relationships. If I hadn't given an uncharacteristic "yes" to the random request by my future husband, Jay, and drummer, Paul, to join this band the summer after high school, I am not sure where I would be now... That was a decision that has influenced my life in COUNTLESS ways.

While in the studio, we began working on a name change and happened upon encircle., complete with tiresome punctuation and lacking capitalization.

This was recorded by Jeff Covert at Wally Cleaver Studio in Fredericksburg, VA.
